KTLM Ups Antonio Rodrigez To Weekend Anchor

Telemundo-owned KTLM Harlingen, Texas (DMA 78) has named Antonio Rodríguez weekend anchor for Noticias Telemundo 40, its local newscast that airs weekdays at 11 a.m., 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. and weekends at 5 and 10 p.m. He will take the anchor desk on March 30.

Rodríguez has been with KTLM since August 2018 as a video journalist, before he was a reporter of the consumer protection unit Responde at KBLR Las Vegas where he previously worked as a reporter and weekend anchor.

He worked as a news anchor and reporter for KNVO Harlingen from 2010 to 2014.

A five time Lone Star Emmy Award winner, Rodríguez  earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, Texas.
