Meridith Mulkey Named KHBS-KHOG Sports Director

Meridith Mulkey today was named sports director for hearst Television’s ABC affiliates KHBS-KHOG, Fort Smith, Ark.

She joined 40/29 News as sports anchor/reporter in July 2022.

“Since her arrival, Meridith has excelled at covering the Razorbacks, the SEC Conference, high school and every sport in between,” said News Director, Colleen Clement. “Meridith will provide excellent leadership in her new role as she and the sports team cover the Razorbacks and our diverse sports market.”

Prior to joining KHBS-KHOG, Mulkey spent two years at WTVY Dothan, Ala. There, she anchored sports during the week, in addition to producing sports reports as a multimedia journalist. She’s very familiar with the Southeastern Conference (SEC), having covered University of Arkansas rivals Alabama and Auburn.
