WISH Indianapolis Adds Anchor-Reporter Dakarai Turner

Circle City Broadcasting’s CW affiliate WISH Indianapolis has hired anchor-reporter Dakarai Turner for its News 8 team.

Turner brings more than a decade of reporting and anchoring experience to the job, including stops at WFLD Chicago, WMAR Baltimore and for the last three years as weekend morning anchor and lead investigative reporter at WHBQ Memphis.

Al Carl, WISH VP-News Director, said: “Dakarai is a skilled journalist, experienced in investigative, political, breaking and community news. He can do it all and will bring those strengths to WISH-TV.”

Turner is a DePaul University journalism and politics graduate and will start on Nov. 20.
