WTHR Names Jeff Rosetti News Director

Dispatch taps the broadcast and cable news veteran to lead its news and digital team at the NBC affiliate in Indianapolis.

Dispatch Broadcast Group today promoted Jeff Rosetti to news director at its NBC affiliate WTHR Indianapolis (DMA 28). He has been the station’s assistant news director since 2011. He succeeds Kathy Hostetter who left the station last year.

“Jeff has played a significant role in building and maintaining the great legacy of 13 Eyewitness News for the past eight years,” said Larry Delia, WTHR president-GM and president of Dispatch Broadcast Group. “I’m confident that his strong team leadership and passion for excellent journalism will advance our mission to engage and enrich the lives of news viewers throughout Central Indiana.”

Rosetti’s career in journalism spans more than two decades. He came to WTHR in 2011 from CNN’s Washington news bureau where he was senior broadcast producer for CNN’s Reliable Sources.

Prior to that he was executive producer at WUSA Washington and WNCN Raleigh, N.C. He has also held newscast producer roles at WFTS Tampa, Fla., and WLTV-WJXX Jacksonville, Fla.

Rosetti graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.A. in radio/television and a minor in journalism.
