WEEKLY SYNDICATION RATINGS ROUNDUP

Big July 4 Week Bang For ‘Live With Kelly And Ryan’

It leapt 7% to a three-week high 1.5 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen rating and took over sole possession of first place on the talk show chart.

Live with Kelly and Ryan was one of the very few shows able to make positive ratings noise in the traditionally quiet holiday session that began on the Fourth of July and ended July 10.

Live leapt 7% to a three-week high 1.5 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen rating and took over sole possession of first place on the talk show chart. The Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest-hosted powerhouse has been No. 1 in the category 45 times in the past 60 weeks, including 14 ties with Dr. Phil.

Phil was second best, backing off 7% to a 1.3 with an all-repeat week.

Compared to the same week last year, Drew Barrymore was up the most of any talker in the top 10, improving 25% to a 0.5 with well over 600,000 daily viewers.

Access Hollywood and Extra were the only magazines to hold 100% of their year-ago scores, with Access chalking up a 0.7 and Extra a 0.6.

Jeopardy was the overall syndication leader for a second straight week, although it slipped 2% to a 4.9. That edged Family Feud, which also fell 2%, to a 4.8.
