Celebrity Contestants Set For ‘25 Words Or Less’

Fox Television Stations today unveiled the celebrity guest lineup of contestants for the debut season of the nationally syndicated game show, 25 Words or Less.

Hosted by Meredith Vieira, the half-hour game show will debut Sept. 16 on Fox Television Stations and is cleared in over 98% of the country. 25 Words or Less is a collaboration between Lisa Kudrow, Dan Bucatinsky, Mary McCormack, Michael Morris, show runner Michael Canter and Bruce Sterten, creator of 25 Words or Less and Taboo board games.

Hosted and produced by Meredith Vieira, 25 Words or Less pits two teams comprised of celebrities and civilian against each other in a word game with a top prize of $10,000. In the beginning rounds of the game, after a bidding session, one team member provides clues to two partners to help them guess a list of five words, using fewer than 25 clue words. In the final round, the contestant who has earned the most points has 60 seconds to get his partners to guess 10 words using only 25 words or fewer.
