‘Extra’ Renewed By Fox O&Os For Season 31

The renewal marks sixth year on the Fox Stations for the entertainment news series from Warner Bros. Television Group.

Warner Bros. Television Group’s Emmy-winning entertainment news series Extra has been renewed by the Fox Television Stations and will return this fall for its 31st season. This will mark the show’s sixth season on the Fox stations. The news was announced today by David Decker, president of content sales, Warner Bros. Discovery; Frank Cicha, executive vice president of programming for Fox Television Stations; and Lauren Blincoe, senior vice president, current programming, Telepictures.

From Telepictures and Warner Bros. Unscripted Television, Extra is celebrating its milestone 30th season featuring host Billy Bush and the Extra team, including senior correspondent/weekend co-host Melvin Robert, senior correspondent/weekend co-host Mona Kosar Abdi, and correspondents Megan Ryte and Terri Seymour.

Decker said: “The team at Extra has delivered quality entertainment news for over three decades. That’s programming gold and our partners Fox have integrated it into their schedule in groundbreaking ways.”

Cicha added: “One of the best things about ‘Extra’ is the synergy that has developed between our stations and the show. We’re looking forward to growing that even further.”

Extra executive producers Theresa Coffino and Jeremy Spiegel said: “We are so excited to take Extra into season 31 with our incredible partners at Fox and all of our stations. We have the best team in entertainment news, and this is a testament to everyone’s talent and hard work.”
