WEEKLY SYNDICATION RATINGS ROUNDUP

‘Jeopardy’ Moves Back To The Top Of The Syndie Chart

It beats out Family Feud by a tenth of a rating point. Dr. Phil and Live with Kelly and Ryan ended up tied for first place among talk shows.

Four of the top 10 talkers registered robust ratings rebounds in the pre-holiday session ending July 3. Despite being in reruns, Dr. Phil summoned enough Nielsen adrenaline to advance 8% to a 1.4 live-plus-same-day national rating. That tied a steady Live with Kelly and Ryan, which was also in repeats, as the highest-rated talk shows at the very top of the talker chart.

Encore episodes of Kelly Clarkson were well received at No. 3, climbing 14% in households to a 0.8, and forging ahead 50% in the key women 25-54 demo.

Other majors in the category with double-digit improvement were Tamron Hall, which surged 20% to a 0.6, and Drew Barrymore, which leapt 25% to a0.5.

Legal powerhouse Judge Judy jumped 7% to a 4.4 and ran away from the court show field for the 1,345th week in a row.

On the magazine rack, Emmy winner Entertainment Tonight had the strongest increase, spiking 6% to a 1.9. That was second only to sister show Inside Edition, which edged up 5% to a 2.0. Access Hollywood was also hot, shooting up 50% among women 25-54.

The top talk shows for the week among women 25-54 were:
