‘Paternity Court,’ ‘Couples Court’ Return Sept. 17

Orion Television, a subsidiary of Metro Goldwyn Mayer Inc., will premiere the sixth season of two-time Emmy nominated Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court and the second season of Emmy-nominated Couples Court with The Cutlers on Sept. 17. Both shows are created and executive produced by David Armour.

Couples Court with The Cutlers, led by trial attorneys Dana Cutler and Keith Cutler, garnered a Daytime Emmy nomination during its freshman season. The Cutlers use high-tech investigative tactics combined with their experiences as a couple who has been together for 35 years to give advice and help resolve relationship disputes for couples all over the country.

The sixth season of two-time Emmy-nominated Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court will continue to unveil DNA results, while judge Lauren Lake helms the courtroom and guides litigants through these life-changing, and often shocking results. This season, viewers can expect more emotionally-charged cases, celebrity guest experts and even cross-over episodes with Couples Court with The Cutlers. As with previous seasons of both shows, litigants will have access to post-show counseling and guidance off-camera to help navigate them through these discoveries.

Couples Court with The Cutlers and Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court are both cleared in more than 90 percent of the country, with many stations airing the shows in a solid two-hour block. A selection of markets and stations with back-to-back programming of the relationship court duo include:

Producer Myeshia Mizuno has been promoted to executive producer ofLauren Lake’s Paternity Court and will continue her role as executive producer ofCouples Court with the Cutlers. Mizuno has worked in the television industry for the past 20 years, producing a variety of formats, game shows, syndicated talk shows, live television shows, reality programming and scripted dramas.

Prior to joining the team, Mizuno was a development executive at 20th Television and was a part of the creative team that launched MyNetworkTV. Over the years, she has held positions at NBCUniversal, ABC, MTV Networks, Fox, BBC Worldwide, Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros.
