Marshall To Introduce New CV420-30X ‘All-In-One’ 12GSDI Camera
As 12G-SDI becomes more widely adopted with its ability to carry low latency video up to 4K/60fps resolution over coaxial (12GSDI) cable, Marshall Electronics announces its CV420-30X 12GSDI camera will debut at NAB 2021 (Booth C5636). This all-in-one model with 12GSDI, HDMI and IP (HEVC/SRT) simultaneous outputs fits into a wide variety of broadcast and professional A/V workflow capable applications.
The CV420-30X uses a high performing Sony Exmor-R sensor to capture crisp 4K (UHD) video up to 3840x2160p at 60fps through a long 30X optical zoom range. Its straightforward design and ease of use make this suitable for live broadcast, houses of worship, sportscasts, newscasts, reality television, concert production, corporate video, courtroom capture, government assembly, education, social media streaming and more.
Marshall said the long 30X optical zoom lens “offers an extended zoom range from 4.6- to 135-mm, starting at just under 70° all the way out to 3° horizontal angle-of-view for maintaining image crispness from ultra-wide to ultra-long telephoto shots. The CV420-30X also operates with exceptional low-light sensitivity, ensuring a clear picture in variable and challenging lighting conditions.”
“Marshall is getting more and more requests for 12GSDI as 4K becomes more widely adopted,” says Tod Musgrave, director of cameras for Marshall Electronics. “The CV420-30X is suitable for use in networked UHD and HD workflows with one-cable to camera ease of setup while leaving the 12GSDI output available to plug into video switching or uncompressed video capture. This new model represents best-in-class within our 30X zoom block camera range, and we are excited to showcase this at NAB, along with our other new camera and monitor products from Marshall.”
