NAB Show New York: Amagi to Showcase Pioneering Cloud Solutions

Amagi, a global provider of cloud-based SaaS technology for broadcast and connected TV (CTV), will be at NAB Show New York (Oct. 24-26, Javits Center), where the company will demonstrate how it’s empowering broadcasters and content owners to maximize their content libraries and achieve superior ROI.

In Booth 603, Amagi will showcase its cloud technologies with a particular focus on its most recent innovations: the Amagi Dynamic live production and playout system and the Amagi Now unified self-service portal. These versatile solutions further enable broadcasters to reach audiences across traditional cable, CTV, D2C apps, and FAST platforms while providing broadcast-grade quality and a cable-like viewing experience on various devices.

“Being at the forefront of industry transformations, Amagi recognizes that broadcasters are increasingly adopting OTT alongside traditional cable and demanding unified cloud workflows to optimize their ROI,” said Srinivasan KA, Amagi co-founder and chief revenue officer.

He added: “Our introduction of Amagi Dynamic presents a game-changer, enabling immediate ROI without upfront hardware investments for live events, expanding content offerings, distribution to D2C apps, and boosting ad revenues. Additionally, our significant presence in the FAST sector, with deep integration into over 50 platforms, is supported by Amagi Now, a modular SaaS platform that streamlines content management and accelerates revenue realization for content creators. With these two solutions in the lead, we’re more committed than ever to meeting evolving market needs and anticipating substantial growth in this dynamic landscape.”

Recently introduced at IBC, Amagi Dynamic is a live production and playout system the company says is “designed to revolutionize the way single live sports events are delivered. With Amagi Dynamic, content owners can avoid costly upfront investments and hardware infrastructure, instead bringing up the cloud system only for the duration of the event and retiring it once the event concludes.

“This technology is a game-changer for rights owners and holders looking to maximize their content libraries, create multiple parallel live events, and efficiently distribute them to D2C apps and other platforms while boosting ad revenues. Furthermore, Amagi DYNAMIC enables users to realize immediate ROI, mitigating risk and gaining a competitive edge in the industry.”

BRAND CONNECTIONS

Amagi will also showcase Amagi Now, its unified self-service portal that enhances channel management and monetization for media companies. The company says: “In an increasingly competitive streaming landscape, Amagi Now equips content owners and platforms with essential tools to expedite time-to-market and accelerate revenue generation. By automating processes that enhance operational efficiencies, Amagi Now streamlines content workflows, integrates scheduling and monetization, and ensures a consistent user experience across linear and VOD deliveries.”

Amagi provides a complete suite of solutions for channel creation, distribution, and monetization. Amagi’s global clients include ABS-CBN, AccuWeather, A+E Networks UK, beIN Sports, Cinedigm, Cox Media Group, Crackle Plus, Fremantle, Gannett, Gusto TV, NBCUniversal, PAC-12, Tastemade and The Roku Channel, among others.
