Winston Er Named Sales Director, APAC At TAG

TAG Video Systems, a provider of probing, monitoring and multiviewing platforms, has strengthened its support of the key APAC region by naming Winston Er as sales director, APAC.

Er, an industry veteran with extensive experience in APAC, is the fourth new team member to join the company in the past month as it expands its global presence in response to significant growth in 2020 and 2021. The announcement was made by Adi Itzhaki, vice president of sales for EMEA & APAC who simultaneously noted that Er will represent TAG at BroadcastAsia July 14-16. The annual industry event will use a virtual platform this year to stream live content and provide networking opportunities for attendees and sponsors.

Reporting to Itzhaki, Er will manage sales activities in APAC where he will meet with customers, prospects and partners to track market trends, analyze economic indicators and uncover regional priorities and requirements. Working with TAG’s executive team and R&D department he will develop, execute and oversee marketing strategies and technical solutions aimed at building and maintaining local relationships, and increasing awareness of TAG’s leadership status in advanced Probing, Monitoring and Multiviewing.

Prior to joining TAG, Er held several positions at Grass Valley in Singapore where he started as a support engineer in 2006 and rose to sales engineering manager over a 15-year tenure. During his early career, Er worked as a cameraman, video editor, multimedia technologist and engineer.
