Alan Straub New WPIX Local Sales Manager

Tribune Broadcasting’s CW affiliate WPIX New York (DMA 1), today named Alan Straub local sales manager. As LSM, Straub will be responsible for overseeing sales activity in the market and the sales performance of the local account executives. He will join PIX11’s sales management team on Feb. 6 and will report to Debbie Presser, general sales manager. 

Straub joins WPIX from MGS Media where he was the director, national sales manager. 

A sales executive with more than 20 years of experience, Straub has held account executive positions at WNYW and WWOR in New York, Time Warner Cable Media Sales, Fox Television and Petry Media Corp.

Straub holds a Bachelor of Science in business economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
