Allison Aldridge New GM Of WACH Columbia
Sinclair Broadcast Group today named Allison Aldridge general manager of its Fox affiliate WACH Columbia, S.C. (DMA 77), that it recently acquired from Barrington Broadcasting.
Aldridge most recently and from 2013 assisted Sinclair with newly acquired station operations. From 2008 to 2010, she was general manager of Sinclair’s WMMP Charleston, S.C., where she also had oversight for WTAT.
From 2001 to 2007, she served in various sales capacities at the same stations, including general sales manager, local sales manager, national sales manager and account executive.
Prior to that and from 1999, Aldridge was an account executive at WACH Columbia, S.C.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech and communications from Clemson University.

This is one of the best moves Sinclair ever made. AA is the hardest working, smartest General Manager on the map. Fantastic!
