‘Bethenny’ Cleared In 97% Of U.S. For Fall

The Telepictures daytime talk show hosted by Bethenny Frankel gets a green light after its six-week test on six Fox O&Os last summer.

Bethenny, the one-hour daily talk show hosted by Bethenny Frankel, has been cleared in over 97% of the country following its six-week summer test on select Fox-owned stations.

The Fox O&Os will serve as the launch partner for the show with its stations representing 37% of the country, while 60% of the clearances come from stations groups including NBC, Hearst, Gannett, Sinclair, Cox, LIN, Raycom, Post-Newsweek, Media General, Allbritton, Gray, Northwest, Journal and others.

Bethenny ran for six weeks from June 11 to July 20 on six Fox Television Stations:  WNYW New York, KTTV Los Angeles, WTXF Philadelphia, KDFW Dallas, KSAZ Phoenix and KMSP Minneapolis. The series improved May 2012 time periods in all six markets, more than doubling inherited time-periods for both women 25-54 (+140%) and adults 25-54 (+133%).

“This series was an instant hit during its test, representing the most successful syndicated test in Fox’s history,” said Ken Werner, president, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. “Most importantly, it demonstrated to stations and to audiences that Bethenny has an authentic and distinctive voice that resonates with daytime viewers.”

Bethenny will be produced in New York by Telepictures Productions and A Very Good Production, Ellen DeGeneres’ production company.
