Bounce TV Adds WVUE New Orleans

Bounce TV, the new broadcast TV network for African Americans, today signed a distribution agreement with Louisiana Media Co.’s Fox affiliate WVUE New Orleans (DMA 52) to carry it on ch. 8.2 beginning this weekend.

Last week, Bounce TV announced agreements with the Fox Television Station group to be carried in New York and Los Angeles and a deal with Gannett Broadcasting brings Bounce TV to Washington.  Bounce TV is also available in Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Houston, Cleveland/Akron, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Hartford/New Haven and other cities.

In seven months since entering the marketplace, Bounce TV has cleared more than 50% of the U.S. and more than 70% of African-American homes.

The diginet has distribution agreements with major station groups including Fox, Gannett, Raycom Media, LIN TV Corp., Nexstar Communications, Belo Corp. and Meredith Broadcasting.
