Bounce TV Launching On KSDK St. Louis

The African-American multicast network will air on ch. 5.2 of the Gannett-owned NBC affiliate beginning Aug. 28. The deal raises Bounce TV’s coverage to 89% of African-American households and 71% of The U.S.

Bounce TV today announced a distribution agreement with Gannett Broadcasting’s NBC affiliate KSDK St. Louis, Mo. (DMA 21).

 

KSDK will begin carrying African-American-targeted broadcast network on its ch. 5.2 beginning Aug. 28. Bounce will also be available on Charter Cable ch. 87.

 

The agreement is Bounce TV’s third with a Gannett station; the network is also carried by Gannett’s WUSA Washington and WATL Atlanta.

 

BRAND CONNECTIONS

With the launch in St. Louis, Bounce TV will now be available in all 25 of the top 25 African-American television markets and the network’s penetration will rise to 89% of African-American television homes and 71% of the total United States.

Bounce TV also recently announced a sweeping range of renewals and new launches by major station groups representing coverage in 40 markets. The network will be two years old in September.

“KSDK is excited to expand our programming and provide St. Louis with Bounce TV,” said Lynn Beall, the station’s president-GM.  “Distributing Bounce TV is one more demonstration of KSDK’s commitment to St. Louis’ African-American audience and to the community at large.”
