CBS Hosts ‘Intelligence’ Bash At CES

While CBS's new sci-fi series Intelligence aired for the first time on the West Coast last night, CBS hosted a private party for the stars and guests at CES in Las Vegas. Here CBS-KCAL Los Angeles entertainment reporter Suzanne Marques interviews actors (l-r) Meghan Ory, Josh Holloway and Marg Helgenberger.

CBS choose an appropriately high-tech setting last night to mark the TV premiere of its new high concept sci-fi crime drama, Intelligence: the 2014 CES in Las Vegas.

The splashy red carpet party was held at the trendy Tao nightclub and restaurant in the Venetian Hotel. The event was a collaboration with CBS’s tech-centric corporate cousin, CNET, which enjoys a much higher profile at the annual technology conference.

Invited media crowded the red carpet photo line jostling for a minute or two with Intelligence stars Josh Holloway, Meghan Ory and Marg Helgenberger. Holloway plays intelligence operative Gabriel Vaughn, who has been technically enhanced with an implanted super microchip that grants him instant mental access to a world of information.

Although the party and red carpet was a private event, the show and its stars were mentioned prominently and often in CES press releases and promotional material.

Next week, Intelligence moves to its permanent slot, Monday nights at 10.
