CBS Picks Petrulis To Oversee Dallas Digital Media

Geoff Petrulis has been named executive director of digital media for CBS Local Media’s Dallas-Fort Worth (DMA 5) properties, including KTVT (CBS)-KTXA (Ind.), effective July 23.

Petrulis will be responsible for overseeing the content, production and marketing for all digital assets of the CBS Local Media properties, which also include CBSDFW.com, KLUV.com, JackontheWeb.com, 1037LiteFM.com, and Mega1075.com, as well as the stations’ mobile apps.

Petrulis joins CBS Local Media from Cumulus Broadcasting’s Dallas-Fort Worth station group, where he has been the director of Internet operations for almost a dozen years. Prior to that, he was a technical support manager for Stream International. Petrulis also previously held positions in the entertainment and hospitality industries.

He studied communication arts at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and audio/video production at the Art Institute of Chicago.
