Chefs Flay, DeLaurentiis Cooking Up Talker
CBS Television Distribution will syndicate a new daytime talk show cooked up by Food Network chefs Bobby Flay and Giada DeLaurentiis, according to people familiar with the deal.
CBS will offer the show for fall 2013.
The show, which has been looking for a distribution partner for several months, will be similar to Disney-ABC’s Live with Kelly and will tap into more than just the hosts’ culinary skills.
Flay and DeLaurentiis co-host Food Network’s The Next Food Network Star and have also been making appearances together on talk shows like CBS’s Rachael Ray.
DeLaurentiis is also a regular contributor on NBC’s Today where she covers topics ranging from food to travel.
The new show joins two others in development for fall 2013, Warner Bros.’ Bethenny with Bethenny Frankel and Sony Pictures Television’s Queen Latifah.
