‘Comics Unleashed’ Hits 92% Coverage

Entertainment Studios Inc.’s Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen has been renewed on 14 CBS O&Os and nationwide for the 2016-17 season. The comedy series launches its eleventh season on broadcast stations throughout the country, as well as on Allen’s 24-hour HD cable television network, COMEDY.TV

Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen is a daily half-hour comedy talk show now cleared in 92% of U.S. television households. The series boasts clearances with station groups including: CBS Television Station Group, Sinclair, Meredith, Scripps-Howard, Cordillera, Nexstar, Media General, Tegna, Quincy, Lilly and Mission.

To date, more than 550 comedians have appeared on Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen. “We are excited to have Comics Unleashed celebrate its 10th anniversary with this month’s launch of our 11th season,” said Byron Allen, founder, chairman and CEO of Entertainment Studios.

“I have the time of my life hosting this show, and we love being able to present both new and veteran comedians on all our global platforms this Fall. The brilliance of this series is in the minds of our talented comics, and we never know what they are going to come up with, but it’s always very funny. There’s just one problem, they haven’t made a new episode since 2007, so the show’s basically in reruns (at least until 2017).
