Dispatch Names Michael Fiorile Chairman

The Dispatch Printing Co. on Friday elected Michael J. Fiorile chairman of the board of directors. He will continue to serve as CEO of the company’s broadcast division, a position he has held since 1994, and CEO of the parent company since 2013. He was named vice chairman in 2015. 

“I worked alongside [former Columbus Dispatch Publisher] John F. Wolfe for 22 years.  We will successfully continue the direction John established for each of our companies and our entire team will continue to execute consistent with past performance. John would expect us to strive for the highest journalistic standards in our broadcast businesses and continue our strong involvement in the communities we serve, and we will do so,” said Fiorile.

The Dispatch Printing Co. operates, through its broadcast division, WBNS Columbus, Ohio; and WTHR-TV and WALV-CD in Indianapolis. Capitol Square Ltd., another wholly-owned affiliate, handles the company’s real estate development and investment activities. Fiorile will serve as chairman of the board of directors of each of these operating subsidiaries.

Fiorile was also named chairman of the board of directors of RadiOhio Inc., which operates WBNS-AM-FM Columbus and Ohio News Network Radio in Columbus.
