Endemol Shine North America Makes Scripted, Unscripted Changes

Endemol Shine North America today appointed veteran showrunner and development executive DJ Nurre, executive vice president of unscripted original series, and has made several additional appointments as part of a new global programming strategy set by Sharon Levy, president of unscripted and scripted television.

Levy, who joined Endemol Shine North America late last year, also named Dan Cazzola VP of international development, unscripted, and Lisa Fahrenholt VP of international development, scripted.

Fahrenholt, who has served as director of North American acquisitions for Endemol Shine International, will continue to also oversee finished program acquisitions and co-financing opportunities for ESI.

In addition, Georgie Hurford-Jones, who is SVP of unscripted programming, continues to executive produce current programming and now heads up all of Endemol Shine North America’s MasterChef franchise initiatives, including MasterChef Jr., which just returned to Fox for its sixth season.

Robin Feinberg, who is also SVP of unscripted programming, will oversee the company’s Fear Factor franchise and additional series, as well.

Nurre, who most recently was EVP of programming and development, 3 Ball Entertainment, will oversee all unscripted current programming, as well as all pilots and presentations.
