The Children’s Television Act is still one of the most draconian, unnecessary piece of legislature the FCC has ever enacted, and forcing people to air three hours of children’s programming that, more often than not, kids aren’t going to watch if they have access to cable or the internet has become a folly. Sure, it made Litton richer than thieves, but it’s still an outdated, unneeded law.
