Fox’s WTTG Prepares For 11th Annual Food Drive

On Dec. 7, Fox O&O WTTG Washington (DMA 8) will conduct the 11^th annual “Stuff-a-Truck” food drive from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. in partnership with Giant Food and CBS Radio Stations.

WTTG’s Wisdom Martin, Will Thomas, Holly Morris and Maureen Umeh will go on location at four primary Giant Food locations around the D.C. area to encourage community turnout.

In 2011, the “Stuff-A-Truck” event generated 62,861 pounds of food and $127,905 to the Capital Area Food Bank.

This year’s goal, WTTG said, is to push that total even higher, through the participation of an additional 12 Giant Food Stores in D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
