Frank Holland New WGN Morning Anchor

Frank Holland is joining Tribune’s CW affiliate WGN Chicago (DMA 3) as a reporter and WGN Morning News anchor alongside Erin McElroy from 4 to 5:30 a.m.  Holland will be on air beginning Sept. 12.

Holland spent the past two years as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WDIV Detroit.  He held general assignment reporter positions at New 12 Westchester in Yonkers, N.Y., and at WMGM Atlantic City, N.J.  He also worked as a sports anchor and news reporter for TV2-Fox in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Holland originally started as a reporter in Fairbanks, Alaska, working at both KTVK and KUAC. 

He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in political science.
