Good February For Freshman ‘Paternity Court’

In the February sweep, Paternity Court with judge Lauren Lake from MGM’s Orion TV Productions posted a 29% year-over-year time period increase to a 1.44 household rating, 2 share, based on Nielsen metered-market ratings.

On the recently renewed show, Lake presides over a single case that concludes with the results of a paternity test.

Paternity Court was up 13% in the sweep among women 25-54 to a 0.7 rating. It was up 22% among adults 25-54 to a 0.6 rating.

Paternity Court posted triple-digit percentage increases over last year’s time slots on CBS Television Stations’ WLNY New York and Ellis Communications’ KDOC Los Angeles. It had a double-digit increase on Weigel Broadcasting’s WCIU Chicago.

Nationally, so far this season, the show ranks No. 6 among six court shows with a 0.6 rating among women 25-54.
