ITV Studios America Taps Michael Azzolino

Michael Azzolino has been appointed executive vice president, creative affairs at ITV Studios America, effective June 13. Based in Los Angeles, Azzolino will oversee development and current operations for the growing roster of scripted television programming produced by ITV Studios in the U.S. market. He will report to Philippe Maigret, president, ITV Studios America.

Azzolino most recently was SVP at Jerry Bruckheimer Television, where he was responsible for all aspects of new project development, pilots and current series production, working with the company’s production partners including Warner Bros. Television, CBS Television Studios and most broadcast, cable and streaming networks.

During his 11 years with the company, he has worked on series such as Lucifer, the CSI franchise, Hostages, Without a Trace, Cold Case, Dark Blue and most recently CBS’ upcoming drama Training Day.

A graduate of Boston College, Azzolino began his career at NBC before joining WB Television Network and eventually transitioning to CBS Productions as director, drama series where he oversaw drama development and current programming for the in-house studio.
