John Seibel Joins WDTN Dayton News Team

NBC affiliate WDTN Dayton, Ohio (DMA 64), has added John Seibel to its 2 News Today.

Seibel will be joined by Holly Samuels and Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik beginning Monday, Jan. 27, to co-anchor 2 News Today beginning at 4:30 a.m. and 2 News Today on CW affil WBDT from 7 to 9 a.m.

Seibel comes to WDTN from Pittsburgh where he helped launch the first all-sports radio station in the city.

Seibel was a satellite communications technician for the Early Warning Missile Defense System during the first Gulf War.

“I’ve covered stories and experienced nearly every corner of the country, but I’m excited to be coming home,” Seibel said.  “I look forward to beginning each morning with the viewers of 2 News and I’m excited to join the 2 News Today team.”
