KFFV Seattle Adds WeatherNation Diginet

OTA Broadcasting’s independent KFFV Seattle today signed an affiliation deal with WeatherNation TV, to carry the 24-hour weather service KFFV’s ch. 44.5 which reaches viewers in Seattle, Olympia, Bellingham and Tacoma, Wash.

WeatherNation TV’s local, regional and national weather will also be available to Comcast cable subscribers in the greater Seattle market on ch. 89.

“WeatherNation will deliver local, regional and national weather news for the nearly 2 million TV homes in the Seattle DMA,” said Carol La Fever, VP of operations for KFFV. “And with WeatherNation TV’s iPhone app, our viewers have instant access to weather alerts on mobile devices as well as the TV.”
