KIRO Names Michelle Woods Gen. Sales Mgr.

Cox Media Group-owned CBS affiliate KIRO Seattle (DMA 14) has appointed Michelle Woods general sales manager.

In this role, Woods is responsible for the oversight of all broadcast sales efforts as well as streaming, website, mobile and digital channels.

Woods joins KIRO from WHBQ Memphis, where she had been general sales manager since October 2014. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, she began her CMG career in July 2004 at KTVU San Francisco and served as account executive, national sales manager and local sales manager during her tenure.

Woods is a graduate of UCLA and has multiple certifications in sales management, leadership and mentorship programs through Cox Media Group.
