KOMU Adds Emily Spain As Morning Anchor
University of Missouri-owned NBC affiliate KOMU Columbia-Jefferson City, Mo. (DMA 138), has hired Emily Spain to join Megan Murphy and Eric Aldrich weekdays from 5 to 7 a.m. as a co-anchor on KOMU 8 News Today.
Spain is currently a student at the Missouri School of Journalism and will graduate in May. She has already made a name for herself at the station by serving as a reporter, weathercaster and anchor. She will start her new job on Monday, March 26.
