Koppel Blasts Hannity, Hannity Fires Back

Veteran newsman Ted Koppel told Fox News host Sean Hannity that he is "bad for America" in an interview that aired on CBS's Sunday Morning that quickly became a trending topic on social media Sunday. Hannity fired back on Twitter.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Veteran newsman Ted Koppel told Fox News host Sean Hannity that he is “bad for America” in an interview that aired on CBS’s Sunday Morning that quickly became a trending topic on social media Sunday.

Hannity fired back on Twitter alleging that his interview had been cut significantly from 45 minutes to less than two. The Fox news host said he provided many examples of media bias in the cut footage and challenged the network to air the full segment.

The Sunday Morning segment examined the polarization of the country and the phenomenon of “fake news” and how conservative pundits like Hannity may be contributing to broad societal confusion and the inability to distinguish between ideology and fact.

Koppel is an old bitter leftie looking to take out his frustrations on someone. Why did Hannity waste his time with him..What did you expect???

Koppel is a respected journalist, and Hannity is a lying, bloviating sycophant to the far right wing Tea Party Nazis.

Hannity is none of those things, and Tea Partiers are not nazis, never have, never will be! Now apologize to Hannity and never make comments like that again!

The above two comments are a perfect example of why there will never be compromise in congress again.

Ted Koppel and Hannity are equally ill-suited to be journalists because they let their extreme bias show. One to the left and the other to the right. Just report the news consistently is all we ask. Every time you see a negative story about Trump ask yourself if the same topic was also a problem with Obama but never reported upon.

Koppel is a consumate journalist. Hannity is an opinionator who isn’t even in the same “room” as Ted. O’Reilly, Hannity and the knuckle-head who replaced Megyn should have their own channel called fantasy island.

O’Reilly, Hannity, and Tucker Carlson do not live in a fantasy, they live in reality, unlike Koppel! Now don’t ever accuse any Fox News employee of not living in reality ever again!

I refuse to watch Fox News. Just change the name of it to Republican News and stop making me pay for it on Direct TV. Of the two channels taking up space on my tuner, get rid of Fox News and the Cartoon Network. Wait a minute.. leave Cartoon Network and delete Fox News. I think they’re one and the same anyway.

It’s not a Republican Channel, and they have liberals on that channel, and stop trying to silence Fox News, leave the network alone, and I mean leave it alone!

Mac Thomas, are you the house comic, or do you take this act on the road?

Don’t you ever make fun of Mac Thomas again! Now I mean it! Don’t do it again! : )

Even a psuedojournalist like Hannity knows interviews are cut way down for broadcast.
