The San Francisco TV sales executive Christopher Newgard moves from KTVU to head sales at Lincoln Broadcasting’s Asian-focused station.

KTSF Names Newgard General Sales Manager
Lincoln Broadcasting’s KTSF San Francisco (DMA 6) today appointed Christopher Newgard as its new general sales manager, effective immediately.
He will be responsible for guiding local and national sales efforts and generating new revenue. KTSF targets the San Francisco Bay Area’s Asian community. Its programming schedule is primarily non-English and includes two-hours of live news each weekday — one hour in Cantonese and one hour in Mandarin.
Newgard joins the station from KTVU San Francisco, where he has been a sales executive since 2012. Before joining KTVU, he was national sales manager at Univision’s San Francisco duopoly of KDTV-KFSF from 1995 to 2011.
Newgard holds a BA in broadcast communications.
