LaVigne Named Litton Television President

The producer-syndicator promotes Meg LaVigne to head of its television operations, overseeing development, sales, marketing, creative services and news.

Meg LaVigne has been promoted to Litton Entertainment’s president of television. LaVigne has served in several key management positions at Litton including vice president of communications and vice president of sales and strategy of Litton News Source.

In her new senior management position, LaVigne will lead all departments within the television division including development, sales, marketing, creative services and news.

Before joining Litton Entertainment in 2010, LaVigne operated LaVigne Media, a television programming and syndication agency. Prior to founding LaVigne Media, she was VP-GM of CBS O&O WUPA Atlanta.

Earlier, LaVigne was VP-GM of WGNT Norfolk,Va. LaVigne has additionally served in numerous, senior positions at WSBK Boston and is an Emmy Award-winning host and on-air personality. Prior to television, she worked as a producer and on-air announcer at WITS-AM Boston. LaVigne is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
