Liz Tufts Named Weekend Anchor At WLNE
News anchor, reporter and producer Liz Tufts will be joining Global Broadcasting’s ABC affiliate WLNE Providence, R.I. (DMA 53), as anchor of the station’s weekend newscasts beginning the week of June 13.
A graduate of Emerson College, Tufts’ experience includes time as a reporter/producer/videographer at KLKN Lincoln, Neb., and, for the last six years, as an anchor/reporter for WSHM Springfield, Mass. In addition to her on-air duties, Tufts was also responsible for on-line content on both stations’ websites.
