Melinda Lewis Joins Fritts Group

The Fritts Group LLC announced Wednesday that Washington telecommunications advocate Melinda Lewis, will join its boutique firm on Feb. 1.

Lewis has been director of government relations for Sprint-Nextel since 2006. Prior to that she was an important part of the government relations team at the National Association of Broadcasters from 2001 to 2006. She came to NAB from the office of the Commissioner of Baseball, where she was director of outreach from 1995 to 2001.

In her new post, Lewis will be joining a bipartisan team of veterans who represent numerous clients in the telecom sector and other areas.

“Melinda is an experienced player in Washington circles and will bring added opportunities for our clients,” said Eddie Fritts, chairman of The Fritts Group.

Lewis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Illinois University.
