Mike Jacques Joins KHBS-KHOG As Sports Director

Mike Jacques joins KHBS-KHOG Fort Smith-Fayetteville, Ark. (DMA 100) as sports director-anchor and reporter on June 27.  Jacques will anchor and report on 40/29 News at 6 and 10 p.m. and online at 4029tv.com.

Jacques brings more than 10 years of college and high school sports reporting talent to KHBS-KHOG News — most recently as a reporter for the University of Wisconsin Badger Sports Report, featured on several network affiliates and the Big 10 Network.

Known to viewers as “Jocko,” Jacques was sports director at WSAW Wausau, Wis., where he became an award winning journalist for his work on The Highlight Zone, a Friday night high school sports program. Jacques has also reported and produced sports for WMTV Madison and WISN Milwaukee.

Jacques is a recent graduate from the University of Phoenix where he received his master’s degree in business administration. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
