Mike Lewis The New GM Of KTBC Austin

The general sales manager of Fox’s Houston duopoly takes the reigns at its O&O in the Texas capital.

Mike Lewis has been named vice president and general manager of Fox O&O KTBC Austin, Texas. He assumes this position immediately and will report to Jack Abernethy, CEO of Fox Television Stations.

Most recently, Lewis was VP-general sales manager of the Fox-owned duopoly in Houston, KRIV (Fox)-KTXH (MNT) for four years. Before that, he was VP-GSM of Fox O&O WHBQ Memphis for three years.

Prior to that, Lewis was national sales manager at the Fox duopoly in Washington, WTTG (Fox)-WDCA (MNT) and was later promoted to local sales manager in 2003.

Earlier in his career, Lewis held sales positions at Clear Channel Television in Tulsa, Okla. He began his career as an account executive at WXXA Albany, N.Y.

Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y.
