NATPE Ups Harbeson To Operations VP

NATPE today promoted Wayneston Harbeson to VP of operations.

Harbeson, a veteran specialist in special events, trade shows and convention services, has been NATPE’s director of operations since 2008. He oversees all logistical aspects of NATPE, the premiere U.S. media marketplace, working with exhibitors in delivering services to highlight their companies and their work. As VP of operations, he will also oversee other NATPE events including PitchCon.

“Wayneston has been a creative and valued member of our team. He was instrumental in our success at NATPE 2011 at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach this past January. We look forward to continuing to benefit from his innovative and skilled operations experience.”

Harbeson’s previous experience includes senior convention services manager for the Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center in Las Vegas, catering and conference manager for the Venetian Resort and employee services coordinator at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel.
