NBCUniversal Cancels ‘Trisha’ Talker

The syndicated show hosted by Trisha Goddard will not be back in the fall for a third season.

Conflict talk show Trisha with Trisha Goddard will not return for a third season this fall, NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution confirmed Tuesday afternoon.

“Following the completion of production this season, the show will not be returning for season three,” said an NBCUniversal spokesperson in a statement. “Trisha is a great talent and we recognize and are grateful for all of the hard work that Trisha and the production staff have put in to the show for the past two seasons.”

Trisha, a spinoff of Maury, debuted in fall 2012 at the same time as NBCUniversal’s hit Steve Harvey.

So far this season, Trisha is tied for last place among syndicated talk shows with CBS Television Distribution’s The Test with a 0.4 rating among women 25-54.

Trisha aired on stations owned by CBS Television Stations, Tribune Broadcasting and other groups.
