NBCUniversal’s Media Works today expanded the roles of four key executives: Stacy Brady, who has been named general manager, news field and production operations; Ian Trombley, who has been named general manager, East Coast television and on-air operations; Jeff Mayzurk, who has been named general manager, West Coast technical operations; and Marc Siry, who has been named senior vice president, media products and advanced technology.

“I’m pleased to announce expanded roles for some extremely talented executives,” commented John Wallace, President, Media Works. “Stacy, Ian, Jeff and Marc are all proven leaders with solid track records, and their newly expanded roles will provide them with even greater opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of the company overall.”

As general manager, news field and production operations, Stacy Brady now adds 30 Rock news production to her bureau, field and satellite operations responsibilities. Jeff Mayzurk, who joined NBCUniversal earlier this year as the chief technical officer for the Comcast Entertainment Group, will now assume the role of GM, West Coast technical operations, and take leadership responsibility for Media Works’ West Coast Technical Operations. In this role, Mayzurk will manage NBCUniversal TV operations in Burbank and over the next few years will lead the efforts to design, plan and build a new broadcast facility for several of the business’ Burbank-based television partners. In addition, Mayzurk will oversee the physical and digital vaults, film preservation, technical services, as well as Universal Digital Services. He will also work closely with Ian, helping to provide local oversight of the technical operations at Wilshire Boulevard. Mayzurk is based in Los Angeles.

With his appointment as SVP, media products and advanced technology, Marc Siry’s client-centric, product-oriented digital team will expand to encompass media products and advanced technology. Working with operations and development teams across Media Works, Siry’s team will provide support for coordinating product strategy, development, design and technical architecture for critical systems. Siry will work to evaluate emerging platforms and share knowledge and best practices across NBCUniversal and business partners.
