‘OK! TV’ Sets Talent For Sept. 9 Launch

Five correspondents will offer their take on entertainment and lifestyle news in the Trifecta-distributed syndicated magazine show.

OK! TV, the syndicated half-hour entertainment newsmagazine from OK! magazine publisher American Media, Inc., has lined up five co-hosts for the show to be based in Los Angeles, New York City and Las Vegas, including Dancing with the Stars contestant and former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey and one-time Green Bay Packer Ron Pitts, both in L.A.

Julie Alexandria, a former sideline reporter for Major League Baseball, and Alex Miranda, former host of Tucson, Ariz. morning show the Morning Blend, will be based in New York City. And Tennis Channel host Mayleen Ramey will be based in Las Vegas.

“We are delighted with the group of talented TV personalities and professionals we’ve assembled and look forward to offering a fresh format for viewers hungry for quality entertainment news and stories,” said executive producer Linda Carrasquillo, in a statement.

OK! TV is co-produced by Unconventional Partners and distributed by Trifecta Entertainment.

The show will premiere Sept. 9 in 80% of the country, including on CBS Television Stations’ independents WLNY New York and KCAL Los Angeles. Other station groups carrying the show include Cox Media Group, Gray, Hubbard, Journal, Media General, Mission Broadcasting, Sinclair, Weigel Broadcasting and others.
