Patrick Paolini Named SVP, Fox Station Sales

The former GM of WTXF Philadelphia will lead sales for the 27 Fox O&Os, succeeding Joe Oulvey.

Patrick Paolini today was named senior vice president of Fox Station Sales. Effective Oct. 3, Paolini will be responsible for overseeing the national sales effort for all 27 Fox owned-and-operated stations, reporting directly to Jim Burke, president of sales.  Paolini replaces Joe Oulvey who has been appointed executive vice president, ad sales, Twentieth Television.

Most recently, Patrick was VP-GM of Fox’s WTXF Philadelphia, a position he held for the last two years.  Prior to that, he was VP-director of sales at WNYW (Fox) and WWOR (MNT), the Fox duopoly in New York.

His earlier FTS positions include six years as VP-general sales manager for WTTG (Fox)-WDCA (MNT) Washington and one year as VP-general sales manager for WTVT Tampa, Fla.

Previously, Paolini spent more than three years with LIN TV, first as national sales manager for WTNH Hartford/New Haven, Conn., and later as general sales manager for WIVB Buffalo, N.Y.

A graduate of Western Connecticut State University, Paolini holds a bachelor’s of business administration in marketing.
