Raycom Media Buys RTM Productions

Raycom Media today acquired RTM Productions Inc., producer of the PowerNation and PowerBlock automotive television programs.

RTM Productions will operate as a new division of Raycom Media. In addition, RTM co-founder Joe St. Lawrence will continue as RTM President and will continue to manage RTM operations at the company’s 50,000 square foot Tech Center in Franklin, Tenn.

RTM Productions is a content creator specializing in producing, distributing and marketing automotive tech shows. The company recently announced its expansion into motorsports events under the PowerNation brand. RTM currently airs four auto shows in a two-hour program block under its PowerNation title including Xtreme Off Road, Engine Power, Truck Tech and Detroit Muscle. PowerNation blocks are distributed weekly on the NBC Sports Network, SpikeTV and the CBS Sports Network as well as online at PowerNationTV.com and the PowerNationTV app.
