Reporter Jermont Terry Joins WDIV Detroit

Graham Media’s NBC affiliate WDIV Detroit (DMA 13) has is adding Jermont Terry to its reporting team beginning Feb. 29. Terry currently leads the I-Team at WTMJ Milwaukee, where he’s worked since January of 2011.

Terry began his career in journalism on radio, in his home state of Illinois, while he was still a journalism student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After college, Terry spent time working at WXII, the NBC affiliate in Greensboro, N.C., before working for four years as an investigative reporter at WKYT Lexington, Ky.

Terry also worked as a producer and reporter at WLFI West Lafayette, Ind.

He has been honored with numerous awards including an Associated Press award for Best Enterprise/Investigative Story and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow award. Terry is also an active member of Investigative Reporters and Editors and the National Association of Black Journalists.
