RHI Entertainment Names Andrew Hines EVP-CFO

RHI Entertainment today named Andrew P. Hines executive vice president and chief financial officer. The announcement was made by Robert Halmi Jr., RHI president-CEO, to whom he will report.

In his new position, Hines will be responsible for directing all aspects of RHI’s financial management and accounting, including general ledger accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

Hines most recently was EVP-CFO of World Color, one of the world’s largest printing companies, now part of Quad-Graphics. Prior to that he managed Hines & Associates LLC, a consultancy that provided interim financial management, business stabilizations and restructurings. The firm worked with a wide range of clients including consumer products, retail, athlete fitness, sports and entertainment.

Prior to launching Hines & Associates, he held EVP and CFO positions at Outboard Marine Corp. and Adidas USA.  He was also SVP-CFO at F.W. Woolworth. From 1976 to 1989, Hines held a number of increasing responsible positions at RJR Nabisco, concluding with his being the senior financial officer at the time of the company’s acquisition.

Hines attended St. John’s University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
