Robb Willinger New WTXF General Sales Mgr.

He moves from Fox O&O WFXT Boston to lead the sales initiatives at the company’s Philadelphia station.

Fox O&O WTXF Philadelphia (DMA 4) today named Robb Willinger vice president and general sales manager. Effective Monday, March 4, Willinger will be responsible for overseeing WTXF’s sales, reporting to Dennis Bianchi, the station’s VP-general manager.

Most recently, Willinger was national sales manager of WFXT, the Fox-owned station in Boston, for the past eight years. Prior to that, he was local sales manager for WFXT and earlier served as an account executive for the station.

Previously, Willinger was an account executive at various companies including WVIT Hartford, Conn., and Dimension Cable in Cheshire, Conn. He was also an assistant account manager and media buyer at Time Buying Services in New York. Willinger began his career as a junior media buyer at Horizon Media Inc. in New York.

Willinger is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science.
