Seattle-Carolina NFL Game Moves To CBS

NEW YORK (AP) — The key NFC matchup between the Seahawks and Panthers will air on CBS as part of the NFL’s new “cross-flexing.”

The league said Monday that the Oct. 26 game at Carolina will be on CBS instead of Fox, which owns the NFC package. The policy change in the current TV rights agreement aims to gain bigger audiences for appealing games. CBS owns the AFC package.

The Panthers and defending Super Bowl champion Seattle are both 3-2 going into this weekend’s games.

    I disagree, I am seeing it as it shows Fox how they should not put all of their eggs in the NFC basket and risk affiliate relations to do so. Stuff like this happens. Time for Fox to boost their Prime programming and put something good on air and balance the NFL prgramming accordingly.

I noticed on Sunday during halftime of the Jacksonville game, when CBS was running highlights of other games, that there was a game between 2 AFC teams that had the FOX graphics on the video, and I said to myself, “WTF? How did FOX get that game; it’s supposed to be on CBS!”
