Sewee Entertainment ‘On The Move’ In 2018

Sewee Entertainment announces the first quarter launch of a new first-run syndicated series Women on the Move.

The quarterly series has been cleared by stations covering over 80% of the U.S. including WABC New York, WGN Chicago, WPHL Philadelphia, KDAF Dallas, WDCW Washington, WATL Atlanta, WXYZ Detroit and WTVF Nashville.

It is produced by 3LF Entertainment and profiles influential women from business, entertainment, philanthropy, medicine, sports and other occupations making a difference in their communities and around the world.

In addition, Sewee also launching a fashion news service Holly’s Fashion Fix featuring fashion expert Holly Katz from Atlanta. It provides short-form content for use in news and digital platforms.

Returning Sewee Franchises:

The NAACP Image Awards returns to syndication in the first quarter with 80% clearance, much in primetime, including WPIX New York, KTLA Los Angeles, WGN Chicago, KDAF Dallas, WSB Atlanta, WXYZ Detroit. It is hosted by Anthony Anderson of Black-ish and is produced by TV One.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

Andrew Young Presents returns for Season 11. Top-market renewals include Fox-owned stations in New York (WNYW/WWOR), Chicago (WFLD/WPWR) and Philadelphia (WTXF) along KDAF Dallas, WSB Atlanta, WXYZ Detroit, KSTP Minneapolis, WFTV Orlando, WSOC Charlotte, WTVF Nashville and more.  The series also airs internationally in more than 175 countries. The first quarter film is Memphis: Facing The Cross, timed to honor the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination. Andrew Young takes viewers on a very personal retrospective trip remembering his first-hand witness to the historic tragedy. 

The Woodward Dream Cruise — The largest automotive event in the world, filmed in Detroit by WXYZ and cleared in over 80% of U.S. including WABC New York, KABC Los Angeles, WLS Chicago, WPVI Philadelphia, KGO San Francisco and WSB Atlanta.
